Terrain!
Wow, I've been trying to go to Terrain for two years now (as I missed last year's by 1 day) and it was so worth it. To see so many kinds of art in one area was so inspiring and exciting. The overall atmosphere was so uplifting and encouraging to artists which I really appreciated.
The artists in the show range from beginners and armature artists to professionals. The art also includes a huge range as you can see from a few of the pictures. From poetry to painting they have it all--comedy, video, interactive art, paintings, prints, music, 3-D sculpture and aerial silk dancers.
Terrain is a must for any up and coming artist and such a good event to have on a resume.
The works are also for sale and range from $50 to several thousand.
Overall Terrain was a great experience, I will definitely be attending again...
hopefully with some work in the show.
